Corporate Solutions have been instrumental in helping us define and establish a company wide approach to providing usability services. They have provided a range of training and workshop activities for development, business and managerial staff in the UK and US. Their pragmatic approach and focus on business issues has meant that usability is seen to make a significant contribution to the strategic direction of the organisation.

We view the methods and thinking embodied within STUDIO as being intrinsic to the re-focusing of our approach to the development of a new breed of systems. The opportunities and challenges of this type of development require control of a more user-centred and task-oriented mindset, and the concept of non-functional requirements has been extremely helpful to us in this. We make particular use of usability criteria and the establishment of PLUME metrics to actively involve all stakeholders in the design process. To date over one hundred of our staff have been trained in the STUDIO approach, and STUDIO continues to be an integral part of our training programme.
