Spelling and Grammar Matters

The correct use of Grammar and Spelling is important in conveying confidence and quality regarding a site and therefore its services.  Misspellings will reduce the accessibility of a site especially for users of screen readers. 

Ideally site content should be checked by a proofreader rather than relying on spellcheckers which will not identify correctly spelled words that are used incorrectly.

A few of the most commonly misspelled words:

absence, abundance, accessible, accidentally, acclaim, accommodate, accomplish, accordion, accumulate, achievement, acquaintance, across, address, advertisement, aggravate, alleged, annual, apparent, appearance, argument, atheist, athletics, attendance, auxiliary ……
