Users in a Hurry

If your website pages are slow to load then you may well lose visitors.  Users will invest their time to wait for something they really want but unnecessary download times must be avoided.

Download times can be reduced by reducing or avoiding the use of multiple images, large graphics, applets and applications.  Improvements can also come from reusing images, employing linked style sheets and compressing JPEG files.

Before launching a site always check the download times over connections that are representative of those used by your target users.
